BEET BERRY PRE-WORKOUT SMOOTHIE

Full of goodness, this smoothies provides perfect pre-workout fuel.

Beetroot is one of the best foods to consume prior to your workouts. Packed with nutrients that aid in expanding blood vessels allowing your vital organs to access extra oxygen, i.e. it may help you train harder and longer. Not a bad thing right?

This smoothie contains coconut water and cucumber for electrolytes. Beetroot, green banana with skin, maca, beep pollen and cacao, all fantastic for energy. I also added lemon for an extra antioxidant boost and sweetness as well as cinnamon for blood sugar balance and finally hemp protein powder for muscle recovery.

BEET BERRY SMOOTHIE

1/3 Cucumber 1 Small beetroot 1/2 Small green organic banana with skin

1/4-1/2 Lemon (organic, unwaxed) 1 tsp Maca 1/2tsp Bee pollen

1/2tsp Raw cacao nibs 1tsp Cinnamon 1-2tbsp Hemp protein

  1. Blend blend blend and enjoy!
