This little golden beauty is a fantastic anti-inflammatory drink after your workout.

As you may know exercise (and even just breathing) produces oxidative stress and free radicals in our body. These free radicals are very toxic and if left to their own devices can cause damage, which obviously we want to avoid.

At a normal rate our bodies are pretty clever and manage to mop up these toxins and get rid of them however, if someone does a lot of exercise and don’t provide their bodies with antioxidants (the antidote to free radicals) then their exercise may be causing them more harm than good.

You find antioxidants in all plants so by including a large amount of vegetables in your diet, you are helping your body recover from exercise and other stressors your body is subjected to on a daily basis.


1/4 Cucumber HF Fresh Pineapple

5 Walnuts

1/4 Organic unwaxed lemon

50/50 Water / almond milk

1-2tsp Turmeric Latte spice mix (the one I use includes turmeric, ginger, black pepper and cinnamon)

1. Blend and enjoy!
