If you fancy trying a great snack these are delicious


1 bag Kale 1 cup Cashews (soaked in hot water for 15 mins) 1 Red pepper 4tbsp Lemon juice 2tbsp Nutritional yeast 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup if vegan 1/4tsp Turmeric powder 1/4tsp Onion powder 1/2tsp Himalayan salt

  1. Rinse and dry kale as much as possible.Tear into large pieces, cutting off the stems where you can.

  2. Blend the ingredients apart from kale in a blender until smooth. Put kale into large bowl add, the cashew nuts mixture and massage properly into the kale.

  3. I use my dehydrator for this at 57 degrees celsius overnight and then turn to make sure thoroughly crisp however you can also do them in the oven.

  4. If you use the oven, preheat to 148 degrees Celsius and bake for 5-10 minutes, perhaps longer, turn halfway.

  5. NB. Kale crisps burn easily so if in the oven, watch them like a hawk!
